To reduce the fear, anxiety and stress (FAS) that many pets associate with veterinary visits, our team members are trained in Fear Free care and handling techniques. This may include offering bandanas for dogs or towels for cats that are sprayed with calming scents called pheromones, offering treats and toys, inviting owners and pets to drop by to walk through reception and get a treat, prescribing calming medications, and other techniques to make your pet’s visit a more pleasant experience.
